Oh wow, is there a recording somewhere or was it live only?
Feels like reading that my favourite band was in town yesterday and I
forgot to secure tickets in time :D

I don't think it's happened yet. In under 6 hours, is when I think it's happening.

There's an audio MP3 podcast too (which is usually how I digest FLOSS).

I'd recommend subscribing as some very interesting projects are covered.

Cheers,
Davy

The shows recordings, audio and video, are on the twit website or search in
any podcast app.
https://twit.tv/shows/floss-weekly

Live stream link https://twit.tv/live has link to their chat,
during an episode some of the questions are from the chat room.

The most important questions are at the end, what are Kasper's favourite
editor and scripting language.

The show is up and you can find it
here: https://twit.tv/shows/floss-weekly/episodes/362
Just finished watching/listening. Very interesting.

I also think Randal did a great job covering the questions and topics
people wonder about
if they're not super familiar with Dart yet or who haven't looked at Dart
in a while.
seb> The most important questions are at the end, what are Kasper's

seb> editor and scripting language.
Heh, yeah.
The show is being edited right now, and will be up on the CDN in a few
hours.
Watch the video (available in three sizes!) to see dartpad running the
Solar example. :)

There's an Angular 2 for Dart quickstart and a couple of guides that you
can try right now:

https://angular.io/docs/dart/latest/quickstart.html
https://angular.io/docs/dart/latest/guide/displaying-data.html
https://angular.io/docs/dart/latest/guide/user-input.html

We're working on the Dart docs and hope to be closer to parity with the
TypeScript docs in a month or so. Our first step is converting the samples.
You can keep an eye on those as we add them to the angular.io repo at
https://github.com/angular/angular.io/tree/master/public/docs/_examples.

Also, no guarantees that these are good/useful yet, but you can find some
automatically generated API reference docs at dartdocs.org
<https://www.dartdocs.org/documentation/angular2/latest/angular2/angular2-library.html>
.

Thank you! It helps that I know a *bit* about the subject matter and
current state. And Kasper inspired me to go dust off my Angular work
and get cracking on Angular 2.
Unfortunately, it looks like there's no Angular 2 Dart docs yet. Does
that mean I should first start playing with Angular 2 JS to get things
worked out, and then work back up the chain to Dart?
Or wait a few more months?

In my experience, angular2 dart is not that difficult to learn from the
resources that Kathy mentioned.
If you want more resources, for the time being, I think angular2 typescript
resources are easy to read and think about for Dart developers, as the
typescript and dart version of anuglar2 are very similar.

After you understand the concepts, this cheat sheet will prove invaluable:
https://angular.io/docs/ts/latest/guide/cheatsheet.html

If you need some more examples:
https://github.com/ng2-dart-samples/pirate-badge

Thomas> Just finished watching/listening. Very interesting.
Just realized that our not-really-a-programmer Technical Director when
showing dartpad ("solar") figured out where to change the color of the
sun from yellow to purple completely on his own! See the video starting
at 17:30! I didn't notice it while taping the show.
Geez... Dart is so simple even a caveman can do it!
