Most of the books and online resources are about dart2
but with dart2 being soon out, is the dart 1 material relevant

And which book or online tutorial is recommended

All books in print are outdated, especially regarding the formerly
optional "strong mode". The best source right now is the tutorials at
dartlang.org, which is maintained by the developers and people working
closely with them.
